Hi, I'm Sara Amiri

I’m a London-based UX/UI designer transitioning from interior design & 3D design. I found my way to UX/UI by completing the Google UX Design Professional Certificate. I have always been interested in the connection between human behaviour and space, and I now bring that curiosity into digital product design.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on photography walks around the city, rock climbing, paddleboarding, playing PlayStation, learning French, or saying yes to new experiences.

Design Background

I studied and worked in the interior design field before transitioning into UX design, which gave me a strong design foundation. I’ve worked at an award-winning studio on hospitality projects and collaborated closely with clients and designers to solve complex problems. That background shaped my strength in attention to detail and a high standard for quality, which I now bring into my UX work.

Enjoy New Challenges

Learning is my biggest value at work. I’m always setting myself new challenges that push me to grow, whether that means running a new user test, taking ownership of a feature, or learning a new tool. I enjoy finding problems, digging into how things work, and solving them through hands-on exploration.

my Design Process

My favourite part of the design process is identifying the problem and brainstorming ideas to find the best possible solutions. I believe that defining the real problem, challenging the boundaries and scope of a project, and exploring ideas to find the best solution is a human skill that cannot be replaced by any tool.
